We’re delighted that The Slow Readers Club are bringing their acclaimed live show to Nantwich Civic Hall on Saturday 17th October.
Formed in Manchester in 2009, The Slow Readers Club have become one of the UK’s most successful independent bands. Through a string of critically acclaimed albums, sold-out tours and a fiercely loyal fanbase, they have built a reputation for doing things their own way while consistently producing some of the most compelling music on the British indie scene.
Combining atmospheric synths, driving guitars and emotionally charged songwriting, their sound is both powerful and uplifting. Their ability to blend thoughtful lyrics with huge, anthemic choruses has earned them chart success and widespread praise, with albums including Build A Tower, The Joy of the Return and their latest release, Out of a Dream, all making a significant impact.
Renowned for their passionate and captivating live performances, The Slow Readers Club have a unique connection with their audience and continue to win new fans wherever they play.
This promises to be a fantastic night of live music and a real highlight of this year’s festival.
Tickets available from Nantwich Civic Hall in person or over the telephone on 01270 628633. Tickets only available online at wordsandmusicfestival.com
