A magical evening of Ukranian culture

The concert brings together the very best talent from Ukrainian communities from Chester, Manchester, Liverpool and Northumberland.  The Orlyk Ukrainian Dancers, renowned in the UK and abroad, will perform stunning dances from their home country. Choirs from Liverpool and Manchester and professional Ukrainian singers will bring their magic to the evening.

In the beautiful setting of St Mary’s Church The Threetles – a kicking Manchester band who celebrate the music of the Beatles – are joined by a string quartet comprised of some of the Norths finest string players – for an evening celebrating the music of the fab four.

The Threetles lead us on on a Magical Mystery Tour through the Beatles catalogue, from beautiful ballads with strings, to rockers, from hits to the occasional b sides and rarity.

This is no typical ‘tribute’ show – no costume changes, no fake Scouse accents, just a chance for Nantwich to savour fresh, faithfully rendered pickings from the oeuvre of the greatest UK band.

The Threetles were recently invited to perform a show honouring the 55th anniversary of the Beatles first radio session, to an audience including original Beatles drummer Pete Beat and official biographer Mark Lewisohn.

Now Nantwich Roots welcomes them, and finally gets to celebrate the legacy of the band who provided the very roots of pop culture as we know it.

Lindisfarne are back at Nantwich Roots by public demand after their roof raising set here in 2022.

The iconic Tyneside based folk-rockers – “Meet Me On The Corner”, “Run For Home” “Lady Eleanor” etc – have enjoyed an incredible 2 years, as a new generation of fans have discovered their magic.

Partly through young chart-topper Sam Fender covering their work, partly through an acclaimed BBC doc on their long career – but mostly through the fresh energy and passion of the current line-up.

Led by Rod Clements – who formed the band back in ’68, the live shows now celebrate the bands entire catalogue, from smash hits to deep dives.

Since their debut gig in 2003, the Alter Eagles have established themselves as one of the country's top tribute acts, headlining at theatres all over the country, playing a mix of old and new Eagles' songs.
