Stories of Leaves
A workshop for Families with Irene Penazzi.
Abstract art.
Looking at the leaves of the most common trees in our gardens and cities, we can notice how many different shapes they can have: heart-shaped or spear-shaped, round or pointed, serrated or lobed. We can try to recognize them and play with their silhouettes with paper, colors, and different drawing techniques exploring materials and shapes (collage, frottage-rubbing, stencil, scratching, tearing), and transform them... into trees! We will explore new ways to look at leaves while creating a totally unique paper garden to take home.
Tickets £6 each, or £10 for both workshops; The Explorers Notebook and Stories of Leaves. Discount is automatically applied when both workshops are added to your basket. Parent tickets free of charge.
The name and age of your child is required for the workshops. Please email ntc.marketing@nantwichtowncouncil.gov.uk or telephone 01270 628633 with this information so we can create the best experience possible.
We welcome all children to our events, however, due to staffing limitations, children who require one-to-one support must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult.
