Friends, family, amateur musicians - adults and children alike - come and join our orchestra for this special one-off event!

For the very first time, the MfL Ensembles are coming together to create the MfL Community Orchestra — a vibrant, one-off collaboration bringing together players from our Jazz Groups, Folk Band, Rocks and Orchestra and anyone who plays an instrument and would like to join in the fun!

And here’s the exciting part: you can be in it too.

We’re inviting festival-goers and community musicians of all ages to join us in rehearsal and performance. Parents, community members, amateur musicians of any standard, you’re more than welcome—just tell us what you play and we’ll have a part ready for you.

Together, with expert tuition and leadership from MfL professional musicians we’ll explore a dynamic mix of folk, jazz, rock and orchestral music, culminating in a lively, feel-good performance.
