There's two more shows of The Very Best In Stand Up until we break for the summer so don't miss these last chances to catch live comedy before we're back later in the year.
Four more professional comedians take to the stage and they don't come much more professional than Mike Gunn, who opens the show. In a career that has seen him perform the world over and appear on several notable TV shows including Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, few would argue that Mike is amongst the cream of the crop in UK comedy.
Aussie comic Damian Clark has had a life not short on stories to tell with plenty of strong gags peppered in between, some of them when you're not looking for them. His clever wit and energetic stage presence cuts an engaging and energetic set of live comedy.
Closing the show is a man who, with a glint in his eye and smile on his face, finds joy in some of the more edgy subjects around us every day. It's a brand of comedy that is cleverly tackled and delivered with charm and plenty of rapid-fire jokes. Other comedians on the bill will often make of point of staying in the room to see Carey Marx's set and that's a massive testimony in itself.
Taking the reins for the evening is Liverpudlian Sam Avery. Sam was nearly a rock star before becoming a comedian and toured with the likes of Motorhead and Ice T. However, his biggest challenge was still ahead in becoming a dad and his award winning online documentation of his experiences have gathered him a huge fanbase of over 120,000 followers and an army of material.
